AR高透减反玻璃(Anti-reflection glass )又称增透射玻璃或减反射玻璃 。是一种将玻璃表面进行特殊处理的玻璃。其原理是把优质玻璃单面或双面进行工艺处理。AR高透减反玻璃具有很高的透过率和很低的反射率。透过率在某一峰值可以达到99%,反射率 <1%.AR高透减反射玻璃与普通玻璃相比具有较低的反射比,使光的反射率降低到1%以下,普通玻璃在可见光范围内,它的单侧反射率约为4%.总的光谱反射率约为8%.玻璃表面在可见光范围内的减反射效果可以通过两种方法来实现;一种为利用不同光学材料膜层产生的干涉效果来消除入射光和反射光,从而提高透过率的方法,此种利用光的相消性干涉生产的玻璃称为AR玻璃;另一种方法是利用粗糙表面的散射作用把大量的入射光转换为漫反射光,它不会给透过率带来明显的变化,这种由精细粗化生产的玻璃称为AG玻璃。

 一般的液晶显示器液晶电视前面没有加前档玻璃。表面容易被划伤破坏,并且视角小。加装上一种AR玻璃后,这些缺点会被克服掉。主要用于显示器件保护屏如LCD电视、PDP电视、手提电脑、台式电脑显示屏、高档仪表面板、触摸屏、相框玻璃等提高透射率降低反射率的电子产品。
