CEAR manufactures DC motors and generators. Its series
production is made up of motors with powers from 1 to 2000 kW,
referred to 1000 rpm; the magnetic stator and rotor circuits are
entirely lamellar.
Design, manufacture and testing are carried out in conformity with
CEI EN 60034-1, fascicle 2771, Maj 1996 edition, and respect the
international recommendations, IEC 34.1. On request, the main
worldwide standards such as VDE, CSA and BS can be complied
with.
Standard production also includes motors provided with the CESI
test certificate for "EExp - internal over-pressure" versions.
CEAR also produces motors and generators for a wide range of applications such as motor for traction, generators for starting aircraft, generators for ships and motors for powering submarines as well as those specifically built on order.
Since its foundation, CEAR has been able to build on important technical and managerial expertise gained in the electrical machinery field.
Today, CEAR motors "turn" all around the world, employed by top European machinery manufacturers in a wide range of industrial sectors.
