选用合适的滤料

　　选用滤料应根据气体的温度、温度和化学特性；颗粒物大小、重量、外形、有否啄磨性以及含尘浓度、过滤速度、清灰方式、排放浓度和袋式除尘器的工作制度等因素综合考虑。一般情况下，脉冲喷吹袋式除尘器选用针刺毡，分室反吹袋式除尘器或机械振打袋式除尘器选用机织布。（各种不同滤料的性能请见附录2） 

设计合理的结构

　　滤袋的结构应满足与其相配的袋式除尘器过滤与清灰的要求，且安装方便、密封可靠，追求相应的过滤面积和良好的过滤状态，易于清灰而又尽量避免磨损。与相关部件配合合理。如外滤式合成纤维滤袋与框架应是松动配合，外滤式玻璃纤维滤袋应与小间距竖筋框架紧密配合；内滤式滤袋应考虑和设定滤袋涨力。
